Job Summary:Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I/Team Manager in the Vocational Rehabilitation Employment Division, the Staff Services Analyst performs a variety of analytical duties related to benefits and work incentives planning for Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) consumers who receive Supplemental Security Income and/or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSI/SSDI) benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist DOR consumers who are SSI/SSDI beneficiaries make informed choices regarding impact of employment on public benefits including cash and health benefits, available work incentives, and reporting of wages and work incentives usage.
- Perform analytical duties related to benefits and work incentives planning.
- Work with DOR consumers to identify and explore work incentives and benefits.
- Provide guidance and support to DOR consumers on benefits and work incentives.
- Include JC#398036 / POS# on your State Application (STD678) in the "Examination(s) or Job Title(s) for which you are applying" section found under the "Questions" tab of your CalCareer application template.

Common Carrier Travel and Accident Insurance – for Excluded Employees Only
Offers employer-paid accidental death and dismemberment insurance to managers, supervisors and other specified employees who travel on state business.
Commute Program
Voluntary benefits that subsidize commuting expenses for eligible employees who commute to and from work using public transportation, vanpools, or bicycles.
Consolidated Benefits (CoBen)
Provides a benefit allowance, rather than specific contribution amounts for health, dental and vision benefits. You may receive additional taxable income each month, depending on the total cost of the benefit plans you choose.
Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA)
Continuation of health, dental, and vision insurance coverage as well as medical reimbursement account for employees and eligible dependents who involuntarily lose coverage.
