Nurse Aide Trainee Job Description

At Autumn Leaves Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Aide Trainee to join our team. As a Nurse Aide Trainee, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our geriatric residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide basic care and support to residents, including feeding, transferring, and positioning
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff
  • Participate in the Nurse Aide Training Program, which includes both classroom instruction and clinical training
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with residents, families, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Have a genuine interest in working with geriatric residents
  • Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis
  • Have a good bedside manner
  • Complete the required hours for the Nurse Aide Training Program
