Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced STEM educator to join our team at the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. As a Cancer Center Statewide STEM Educator, you will play a critical role in leading K-12 functions and outreach efforts for career enhancement and educational programs in the Cancer Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement STEM education programs for K-12 students, including curriculum design, program management, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with faculty members, researchers, and clinicians to develop and implement cancer-related STEM education programs.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with K-12 schools, community organizations, and businesses to promote STEM education and career opportunities.
  • Develop and manage budgets, grants, and other resources to support STEM education programs.
  • Provide training and support to educators, students, and other stakeholders to enhance their knowledge and skills in STEM education.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, marketing, economics, biomedical science, management, or a related area.
  • Master's degree desired.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in STEM education, program management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
