Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge RF systems and hybrid modules. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product design and transition to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop RF systems and hybrid modules, including power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, filters, ADCs, DACs, and optical converters.
  • Collaborate with system, electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and system test engineers to ensure successful product design and transition to production.
  • Analyze RF measurement data, resolve production design issues, and improve production yields and test times.
  • Work with simulation tools such as Agilent ADS and electromagnetic simulators like HFSS and Momentum.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in RF/Microwave design and development.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • Previous experience designing multi-layer circuit boards.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Up to 10% travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agilent ADS or other simulation tools.
  • Experience with HFSS, Momentum, or other electromagnetic simulators.
  • Experience with RF test and measurement methods and equipment.
  • MSEE degree.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SSBI/SCI.
  • AESA/phase array, Radar, SIGINT, or SATCOM experience.
What We Offer

Viasat offers a competitive salary range of $136,000 to $237,700 per annum, plus additional cash or stock incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.
