Site Manager

At The Computer Merchant, LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing site. This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and high-quality execution of manufacturing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a culture of safety and oversee daily operations, including staffing and running manufacturing processes to satisfy sales forecast/demand.
  • Coordinate employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage, and support maintenance of manufacturing and related laboratory equipment.
  • Oversee supply chain, including maintaining relationships with suppliers and ensuring adequate supplies to maintain operations, sourcing new/secondary suppliers as needed, and proper inventory management practices.
  • Oversee quality program, working with engineering and product teams to develop and support, and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure site utilities and services are reliable, maintain relationship with building manager, and manage light maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
  • Project management skills and ability to schedule efficient staff work assignments.
  • Technical competencies in manufacturing, including reading technical drawings, electrical specifications, basic gas/liquid handling systems, and efficient use/knowledge of hand tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other industry/office software, strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to manage light maintenance tasks.
  • Self-directed, problem-solving, effective communicator, and ability to manage information and communications discreetly.
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, business, or engineering, and three to five years' experience in project-based work site, manufacturing management, or related field.
