About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed engineering design work, including preparing, reviewing, and approving technical documents and reports.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create and modify engineering drawings and designs.
  • Prepare cost estimates and proposals for engineering projects, ensuring that all financial aspects of the project are accurately and thoroughly accounted for.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineering staff.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that all engineering work is performed in accordance with company policies and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering role, with a focus on project management and design.
  • Extensive experience with AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation and proposal preparation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on organization and time management.
  • Proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
