Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Balance: Identify and introduce new parts for stock while phasing out non-performing items and ensuring optimal inventory turnover.
- Inventory Oversight: Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory and bin organization, preventing issues with policy and obsolete items.
- Customer Care: Address customer inquiries effectively, ensuring their needs are met while managing the financial aspects of the Parts Department.
- Accountability: Prepare to engage in dealership and departmental meetings with solution-focused insights.
- Market Expansion: Drive sales growth by analyzing market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.

Required Skills and Competencies:
- Parts Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing a high-volume retail department within the RV, automotive, marine, or power sports sectors is highly desirable.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrated success in evaluating and optimizing the layout and structure of a retail department, with adaptability as needed.
- Effective Communication: Strong communication abilities with experience in explaining parts and accessory options, building rapport with clients, and collaborating with colleagues.
- Analytical Thinking: Capacity to navigate complex and multifaceted situations with positive results.
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience is advantageous.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to be meticulous, organized, and precise in all tasks.
- Process Orientation: Proven track record of adhering to and adapting processes while ensuring team accountability for outcomes.
Expected Outcomes:
- Customer Satisfaction: Achieve a customer satisfaction rating of 90% or higher and an NPS score exceeding 70% through a customer-centric approach.
- Inventory Efficiency: Maintain four or more inventory turns annually.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure less than 2% write-off from cycle counts and year-end inventory evaluations.
- Operational Efficiency: Demonstrate year-over-year improvement in the duration an RV remains in service.
- Bin Accuracy: Achieve 100% accuracy in bin location management.
- Labor Efficiency: Increase gross profit generated per labor dollar invested.
