Job Summary

Absolute Elder Care is a geriatric-focused mobile physician group providing primary care services to patients in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and private residences across North and Central Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain provider's rounding schedule and communicate with facility staff to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Maintain courteous and professional working relationships with facility staff, other third-party providers, patients, and patient families, and coworkers.
  • Maintain an accurate patient census for each assigned facility.
  • Complete accurate merging of progress notes.
  • Transmit orders to pharmacy, facility, laboratory, and diagnostic imaging company as directed by the provider.
  • Answer questions and provide clarification on orders when appropriate.
  • Maintain inventory supplies to ensure provider is properly equipped.
  • Attend weekly medical assistant web meetings (via TEAMS).
  • Facilitate telemedicine visits as needed.
  • Assist provider with CMS quality objectives.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Ability to take detailed notes and accurate documentation.
  • Strong computer and transcription skills.
  • Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.
  • Highly organized with excellent time-management skills and high level of attention to detail.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
