Job Description:
The Public Health Nurse will play a crucial role in reducing environmental hazards in the home associated with disease and injury, focusing on lead poisoning prevention in high-risk populations. Key responsibilities include providing care coordination for lead-poisoned children and pregnant individuals, identifying possible lead hazards, and developing measures to prevent lead exposure. This role also involves participating in the development and implementation of programs to prevent lead exposure, providing information to the public and medical community on lead poisoning prevention, and performing other duties as assigned.

The estimated salary for this role is $83,000 - $103,000 per year, depending on experience.
