Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Hartford Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-volume cath lab that has received the Gold Glass Standard for Cardiac Care.
Responsibilities- Provide cardiac catherization services in a high-volume cath lab
- Rotate between cath lab prep/recovery and inpatient consults on admitted patients
- Manage day-of-procedure patients and initial and follow-up consults in a clinic setting
- Eligibility to be licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Connecticut
- Eligibility to be certified as a PA, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)
- 1 year of APP experience or 3 years of RN ICU experience or RN cath lab experience
