Position Overview:
Kuhn Raslavich, P.A., a prominent plaintiff's civil litigation firm operating in Florida and Colorado, is on the lookout for a mid to senior-level attorney specializing in property insurance litigation to lead its new office in North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected attorney will take charge of cases representing property owners and contractors in first-party insurance disputes. Responsibilities will encompass:

  • Drafting and arguing legal motions
  • Preparing pleadings and discovery documents
  • Conducting and defending depositions
  • Participating in mediations
  • Engaging in firm-sponsored marketing initiatives

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An active membership in the North Carolina Bar
  • A minimum of two years of experience in property insurance litigation
  • Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive and discovery motions
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Familiarity with Westlaw and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in depositions and mediations
  • A highly organized and self-motivated approach, capable of working with minimal supervision
