Irrigation Specialist Responsibilities:- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve irrigation system issues effectively.
- Conduct thorough wet checks to ensure proper functionality and coverage of all zones and sprinkler heads.
- Install, maintain, and adjust clocks, timers, and rain sensors.
- Troubleshoot electrical components within irrigation systems.
- Install and repair pumps, check valves, wellheads, and screens.
- Work with zone valves, electrical valves, and manifolds to ensure optimal system performance.
- Demonstrate proficiency in PVC pipe fittings for sprinkler head installation (pop-up and rotors).
- Inspect controllers and adjust settings based on the water requirements of each irrigation zone.
- Supervise and guide other technicians during irrigation projects and installations, ensuring efficient project management.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an irrigation foreman.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an irrigation technician.
- Physical ability to perform the demanding tasks associated with outdoor irrigation work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting professionally with clients and colleagues.
- In-depth understanding of irrigation system components, including pumps, timers, valves, sprinkler heads, and related parts.
- Competitive salary range between $35,000 and $45,000 per year.
