Know Your Rights:
The Registered Nurse will deliver direct patient care in the outpatient wound care clinic and assess inpatient wounds.
Maintain effective communication with physicians, charge nurses, and colleagues regarding any alterations in the patient's treatment plan or clinical status, including diagnostic study results.
Demonstrate the capability to respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
- Possess a current and valid Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
- BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
- Prior experience in an Acute Care hospital setting is preferred.
- Experience or knowledge in wound care is preferred (minimum of 1 year).
- Wound Care Certification is preferred within the first year of employment.
- Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification is preferred.
