Overview

Mission Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality maternity care to patients in the Rio Grande Valley. As a Registered Nurse in our Labor and Delivery department, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes providing direct patient care within the scope of practice, directing and guiding patient/family teaching, and maintaining standards of care in the Birthplace.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current and valid state RN License, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Basic Fetal Monitoring. AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification is also preferred.
