Job Summary

DISH is seeking a skilled Wireless Application Tester II to conduct user acceptance testing and drive enhanced usability and functionality in customer and customer support agent applications for our Wireless brands.

This role requires a strong understanding of software and application changes, as well as the ability to work with various departments throughout the company, including marketing, sales, product, IT, and third-party vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for defining problems, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate complex applications and situations with minimal direct oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Design and Planning – Develop and maintain test cases to ensure software and application changes meet outlined requirements
  • End-User Experience – Evaluate project requirements and approach testing with the optimal user experience in mind
  • Cross-Team Collaboration – Work with various departments to ensure comprehensive, accurate, and timely testing of project features

Requirements:

  • Aptitude for defining problems, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
  • Ability to balance workload between planning for future work while delivering on current projects
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey testing status and discovered issues
  • Strong competency using Google Suite and experience/familiarity using project management software (Jira, Service Now, HP ALM)

Compensation:

$63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year
