Job Title: IT Systems Engineer

Farnsworth Group is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain Azure and on-premises Windows infrastructure
  • Support site LANs and SDWAN utilizing Cisco and Meraki equipment
  • Administer Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online and SharePoint Online
  • Maintain PRTG platform for environment monitoring and alerting
  • Identify opportunities for, and assist with automation and digitization projects
  • Provide security insight and assistance, serve as escalation point for systems-related issues
  • Manage and execute various IT projects as required
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years experience in a Systems Administration or Engineering role
  • Demonstrated experience with Entra, AD, PowerShell, Azure and M365 Suite
  • Experience with network design and knowledge of best practices
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills
  • Effective written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with SOAP and REST API integrations preferred
  • PowerBI/PowerApps experience a plus
  • Microsoft, Cisco, or other industry certifications preferred
