Safety and Quality Manager

The Safety and Quality Coordinator will be responsible for developing and managing the safety, health, and quality program for an assigned location, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and direct compliance with the company safety program to ensure safety goals are met.
- Develop and implement safety-related programs that meet or exceed company safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate and conduct safety meetings and training programs to communicate company policy and safety standards.
- Assist with qualifying employees under the operator qualification program.
- Participate in regulatory agency inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Investigate and maintain records of third-party, asset loss, and workers' compensation claims.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in construction and/or related safety environment.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of PHMSA standards, DOT regulations, and Construction Safety Regulations.
- Ability to teach, mentor, and lead.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
