The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Materials Research Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will play a key role in ongoing research initiatives and assist in the creation of innovative products within the Specialty Gas division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead research and development efforts focused on the purification of specialty gases or vapors.
  • Thoroughly analyze data and prepare technical documentation to convey findings for technology advancement, continuous enhancement, and various projects.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline with over 6 years of experience; or a Ph.D. with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Proven expertise in gas or vapor purification methods, including but not limited to vapor phase distillation and absorbent-based purification techniques.
  • Familiarity with a range of relevant methodologies such as absorbance spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, and X-ray characterization techniques.
Preferred Attributes:
  • In-depth knowledge of the Specialty Gas sector.
  • Experience with fluid modeling using software tools like COMSOL.
  • Capability to collaborate with and mentor colleagues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members at all organizational levels.
  • Proven track record in managing projects while adhering to timelines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication through publications, patents, and presentations.
