Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Construction Inspector - Project Manager to join our team. As a Construction Inspector - Project Manager, you will be responsible for inspecting systems, products, roadways, bridges, and other infrastructure to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with codes and regulations
- Provide technical assistance to contractors, including daily progress reports, investigating complaints, and ensuring compliance with contract plans and specifications
- Collaborate with Engineers of Record to ensure proper installation and compliance with code
- Develop and maintain detailed technical reports and documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure project methods, materials, and design
- Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to construction
- Ability to perform detailed technical inspections and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in all relevant safety requirements
