Job Title: Host/Hostess

The Ākēdo Washington DC is seeking a skilled and charismatic Host/Hostess to join our team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring efficient use of space
  • Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to ensure seamless service
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure prompt and attentive service
Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails is a plus
