The Executive Housekeeper at MCR Hotels is responsible for overseeing the efficient operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and clean rooms to ensure quality and cleanliness of all guest rooms and public spaces daily.
- Supervise and direct housekeeping, house person, and laundry personnel to maintain hotel brand standards.
- Conduct daily department meetings with housekeeping staff to discuss objectives and goals.
- Maintain required stock of housekeeping and laundry supplies by ordering necessary items on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Monitor work orders and submit to Engineering department according to procedures.
- Balance and clear the room status nightly, comparing the PM Housekeeping Report with the computer's room status report.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or a related field.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
