About the Role

The Goddard School of Avon, IN is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Public Works and Facilities team. As the Director of Public Works and Infrastructure, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and development of our facilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of facilities staff to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime
  • Oversee the development and implementation of capital projects, including renovations and new construction
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities meet the needs of our students, staff, and community
  • Develop and manage budgets for facilities maintenance and capital projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, architecture, or facilities management
  • At least 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing and supervising a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A strong understanding of facilities management principles and practices
