Position Overview
This role requires a dedicated individual with a high school diploma and a strong background in insurance billing, ideally with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of medical billing practices, including cash posting and contractual adjustments.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently resolve client and internal department inquiries via phone.
- Maintain data entry proficiency at 210 keystrokes per minute with a 98% accuracy rate.
- Exhibit word processing skills at 40 words per minute with a 97% accuracy rate.
- For current employees, demonstrate a year of successful experience in the Billing Department with positive performance evaluations.
- Familiarity with Epic software is advantageous.
- Engage in customer service calls as required.
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
Applicants should have a strong ability to manage customer interactions effectively and demonstrate problem-solving skills. Experience in a similar role is preferred.
Education
A high school diploma is required.
