Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during procedures
  • Maintain asepsis and sterile techniques
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Recent hospital experience and/or previous practice experience
  • Must be eligible for Surgical Technologist registration via Commonwealth of Virginia at time of hire
  • Basic Life Support certification from AHA required
