Job Summary

As a key member of our team, the Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and executing performance development plans for departmental staff. This role requires a strong understanding of the insurance industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage client relationships to maintain high account retention rates
* Develop new business opportunities through direct selling and cold calling
* Evaluate client coverage portfolios to identify cross-selling opportunities
* Service accounts and provide claims assistance as needed
* Analyze exposure bases to identify program deficiencies and develop marketing strategies

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Ten (10) or more years related work experience
* Valid insurance license
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good problem-solving and time management skills
* Ability to work within a team and foster teamwork
