The work environment is dynamic, competitive, and constantly evolving. As a 24/7 emergency services provider, candidates must be prepared to work extended hours, participate in on-call rotations, and travel to various disaster sites as required by the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpet and floor cleaning services
- Execute construction clean-up tasks
- Conduct clean-up for fire, mold, biohazard, and water damage incidents
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- No prior experience is necessary, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn are essential
- Manage the cleaning of contents both on-site and off-site
- Inspect and monitor off-site storage units to ensure safe and proper storage conditions
- Demonstrate attention to detail while inventorying and assessing belongings
- Safeguard and wrap items for storage and transportation
- Document all job activities comprehensively using mobile applications
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid driver's license with no more than three points
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a background check and a basic physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with basic hand tools (e.g., hammer, saws)
- Team-oriented mindset
- Organized and motivated individual with a positive demeanor
- Ability to think quickly and adapt
- Professional and personable approach to customer interactions
- Willingness to travel as necessary
- Capable of working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to work in various positions, including standing, sitting, walking, and climbing
- Willingness to work in challenging environments, including extreme temperatures and heights
- Capable of handling fumes, airborne particles, and hazardous materials (safety training and equipment provided)
- Safe operation of a company vehicle is required for travel to job sites
Education and Experience:
While prior experience and certifications in the insurance restoration field are advantageous, they are not mandatory. A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn from the ground up are essential.
