A Content Restoration Specialist plays a crucial role in responding swiftly to emergency disaster claims and overseeing restoration clean-up operations within designated areas. This position is essential in providing support to individuals affected by disasters, helping them regain a sense of normalcy. The work environment is dynamic, competitive, and constantly evolving. As a 24/7 emergency services provider, candidates must be prepared to work extended hours, participate in on-call rotations, and travel to various disaster sites as required by the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform carpet and floor cleaning services
  • Execute construction clean-up tasks
  • Conduct clean-up for fire, mold, biohazard, and water damage incidents
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • No prior experience is necessary, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn are essential
  • Manage the cleaning of contents both on-site and off-site
  • Inspect and monitor off-site storage units to ensure safe and proper storage conditions
  • Demonstrate attention to detail while inventorying and assessing belongings
  • Safeguard and wrap items for storage and transportation
  • Document all job activities comprehensively using mobile applications

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid driver's license with no more than three points
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to pass a background check and a basic physical and drug screening
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools (e.g., hammer, saws)
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Organized and motivated individual with a positive demeanor
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt
  • Professional and personable approach to customer interactions
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to work in various positions, including standing, sitting, walking, and climbing
  • Willingness to work in challenging environments, including extreme temperatures and heights
  • Capable of handling fumes, airborne particles, and hazardous materials (safety training and equipment provided)
  • Safe operation of a company vehicle is required for travel to job sites

Education and Experience:

While prior experience and certifications in the insurance restoration field are advantageous, they are not mandatory. A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn from the ground up are essential.
