Chatham University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in the Communication department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communication studies and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach introductory, intermediate, or advanced courses in communication studies
- Hold regular office hours and maintain professional communication with students
- Consult and collaborate with other faculty to align with departmental teaching needs
- Participate in departmental events and university trainings for adjunct faculty
- Completion of a Master's or Ph.D. in Communication or a closely related field (e.g., Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies)
- Extensive work experience in the field is also acceptable
- Candidates with a combination of academic and practical experience are encouraged to apply
- Experience teaching and mentoring at a college level
- Experience working with diverse groups and students
