Job Summary

Chatham University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in the Communication department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communication studies and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach introductory, intermediate, or advanced courses in communication studies
  • Hold regular office hours and maintain professional communication with students
  • Consult and collaborate with other faculty to align with departmental teaching needs
  • Participate in departmental events and university trainings for adjunct faculty
Requirements
  • Completion of a Master's or Ph.D. in Communication or a closely related field (e.g., Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies)
  • Extensive work experience in the field is also acceptable
  • Candidates with a combination of academic and practical experience are encouraged to apply
