We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Marine Terminal Security Officer at Holt Logistics. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our marine terminal operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Patrols: Perform regular security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle to detect and prevent potential security threats.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and investigate incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities, and prepare reports as necessary.
  • Access Control: Monitor entrances and exits, and permit authorized personnel to enter the property.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders through the use of 2-way radios, telephones, and computers.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to visitors, employees, and customers, and respond to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Security Experience: Previous security experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is required.
