Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fixed Asset Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the conversion, tracking, controlling, and maintenance of records for all fixed asset instruments across the corporation. You will collaborate closely with the Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure the effective management of fixed asset inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Control, monitor, and redistribute fixed asset instruments
- Review all fixed asset requests for completeness for all items purchased for SSI's use
- Monitor the depreciation of fixed asset instruments and maintain appropriate disposition records for any instruments that are removed from use
- Assist all regions and representatives to provide and receive needed fixed asset equipment from other locations or from new inventory with approval from Divisional VPs
- Lead and perform the annual fixed asset physical inventory at headquarters and through the regions
- Work with demo inventory team to implement the fixed asset count process effectively and efficiently
- Work with Divisional Managers in monitoring and controlling fixed asset lab equipment
- Provide status and relevant product information for SSI's fixed assets
- Management and reconciliation of the CIP (Construction in Progress) account
- Monitoring the progress/cost of CIP projects and confirming the completion of projects with fixed asset owners
- A high school diploma is required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Knowledge of inventory control and asset management principles
