About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Screener and Phlebotomist to join our team at BioLife, a leading plasma donation center. As a Medical Screener and Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the collection of high-quality plasma that will become life-changing medicines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen new and repeat donors to ensure their safety and eligibility for donation
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect plasma from donors
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation
  • Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company-approved procedures
  • Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our donors

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful
