Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team at TridentCare. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive your personal vehicle to client facilities, following established routes and schedules.
  • Collect blood samples from patients, adhering to phlebotomy procedures and protocols.
  • Properly identify patients, label specimens, and complete requisitions accurately.
  • Transport specimens to laboratories, ensuring compliance with phlebotomy policies and procedures.
  • Plan and organize draw schedules, prioritizing patients and managing time effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records, including logs, time sheets, and other required documents.
  • Collaborate with dispatch, payroll, laboratory, and courier departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Report equipment issues promptly and maintain all equipment in good working order.
  • Respond promptly to company-issued mobile devices and be available to work when on-duty.
Requirements
  • Current clinical licensure, if required by state.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and phlebotomy procedures.
  • Proficiency in venipuncture, tourniquet application/removal, and decontamination of puncture sites.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and maintain accurate time sheet records.
  • Understanding of resident rights, patient care, and patient right to refuse.
  • Ability to obtain blood specimens from patients under various conditions.
  • Proficiency in written/verbal skills in the English language.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, patients, public, and staff members.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
