Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of line cooks and prep cooks to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and implement menu planning and inventory control systems to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with the Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and special requests.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Proven track record of success in menu planning, inventory control, and staff management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
