Sedaro is a leading provider of cloud-based digital twin platforms for complex systems. We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our development team in Arlington, VA.

About Sedaro:

We are a fast-growing startup that aims to revolutionize distributed system design and operations in aerospace and beyond. Our platform enables customers to rapidly develop and operate complex hardware systems, reducing costs, closing gaps, and overcoming bias, security, and privacy issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Work collaboratively with modeling engineers, systems architects, and front-end developers to deliver high-performance software tools
  2. Design and develop high-impact upgrades to our platform
  3. Develop RESTful web services/APIs
  4. Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with Git, Jira, and agile software development practices
  • Strong software development skills, preferably with Python and/or JavaScript
  • Experience developing web applications

Additional Qualifications:

  • PhD or Master's degree in CS or similar
  • Experience developing production software systems
  • Strong mathematical background and experience with compilers, meta-programming, programming theory, formal methods, functional programming, type theory, applied logic, etc.
