Position: Registered Nurse Team Lead

As a Registered Nurse at Cayuga Medical Center, you will play a vital role in a collaborative healthcare team focused on delivering comprehensive and empathetic care to our community. You will have the opportunity to operate within your full scope of practice, contributing to the development, execution, and assessment of healthcare programs aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care.
  • Engage in the continuous improvement of patient care programs.
  • Mentor and educate nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Manage patient flow and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

  • Active New York Nursing license.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (opportunities to obtain during orientation).
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Capability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.

Compensation:

Hourly wage ranges from $40.63 to $50.
