Industrial Electrician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at PeopleReady Skilled Trades. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for supporting electrical contractors throughout Jacksonville, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, panels, and lighting systems
  • Install, calibrate, and test analyzers, electric motors, electric panel boards, lighting, and power circuits
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using measuring instruments, hand tools, electric tools, or hydraulic tools
  • Perform semiskilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of experience as an Electrician
  • Proficient with electrical processes and codes
  • Competent with reading blueprints, drawings, and diagrams
  • Ability to bend and run PVC conduit using a PVC heat box, blanket, or gun
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without reasonable accommodation
  • Prior experience in the Industrial field preferred
  • Prior experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week and overtime if required
  • Must have tools of the trade and bring them to work daily
