Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at the Jacksonville Plant. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and calibrating industrial instrumentation, as well as performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and overhaul industrial instrumentation, including level, weight, flow, pressure, temperature, and position devices.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment to ensure maximum effectiveness.
  • Assist in monitoring and communicating specific spare parts needs, utilizing Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide solutions to issues or opportunities that contribute to the operation in the areas of Quality, Safety, and Productivity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Four years as an electrician apprentice or two years as an industrial electrician.
  • Two years experience repairing and trouble-shooting high-speed production equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams or blueprints and/or other forms of engineering drawings.
  • Basic computer skills and math knowledge.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to operate well in a team environment.
  • The ability to stand on concrete floors for an extended period, climb narrow stairs or ladders repeatedly, work in confined spaces, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds during the shift.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to successfully complete required skills testing.
