Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of contract documents, including detailed plans and specifications.
  • Conduct hydraulic flow and pressure calculations for pipelines.
  • Perform pump sizing calculations and develop system curves.
  • Provide engineering and design support for water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Prepare cost estimates for construction and design projects.
  • Create project-specific specifications.
  • Engage in the planning and design of water and wastewater pipelines, pumping stations, storage, and treatment systems.
  • Learn and participate in project management, client relations, and business development for future initiatives.
  • Conduct site visits during the design and construction phases to assess facilities.
  • Review construction shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with design documents.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution or NCEES equivalent.
  • Experience or coursework in water and wastewater systems is advantageous.
  • Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT) or the ability to complete it within the first six months.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with other design disciplines.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently.
  • Proficient in both oral and written communication.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and ArcGIS is a plus.
  • Active participation in professional organizations such as AWWA, WEF, ASCE is beneficial.
Compensation Range:
$50, $66,828.00
