About the Role

The Principal Gifts Officer will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations to support the university's strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive major gifts strategy to achieve fundraising goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with key donors and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the university to identify and pursue new funding opportunities
  • Prepare and present compelling cases for support to donors and stakeholders
  • Manage and track progress towards fundraising goals and objectives
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in development, fundraising, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team, are essential.
