Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Plasma Programmer to join our team at Hyundai Power Transformers USA. As a CNC Plasma Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating our HDX400 Hypertherm plasma machine to produce high-quality metal components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming and Operation: Program and operate the HDX400 Hypertherm plasma machine to produce metal components with high precision and accuracy.
  • CAD Design and Programming: Use AutoCAD Mechanical to design and program metal components, and Flashcut CAM software to optimize cutting paths and settings.
  • Metal Fabrication: Work with metal sheets and components to produce finished products, and ensure that all work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand design specifications and requirements.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Possess a strong understanding of metal fabrication principles, welding tolerances, and fabrication standards and practices.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate's degree or 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Skills: 2D AutoCAD Mechanical experience, CAM software experience, metal fabrication experience, and plasma or laser programming experience.
  • Knowledge: Metal gains, welding tolerances, welding symbols, fabrication standards and practices, the metric system, standard I-beam, channel, and pipe sizes.
