CNC Plasma Programmer

2D AutoCAD experience. Metal fabrication experience is a plus but not required. CAM programming software (any) experience is a plus but not required; our CAM software is easy to learn (especially for someone with AutoCAD experience) but not a typical software that everyone uses. Usually someone with this type of AutoCAD experience will have taken college courses for it.
We are looking for a full-time CNC Plasma Programmer, for an HDX400 Hypertherm plasma machine. The job will be computer/office based, with AutoCAD Mechanical being the primary software used along with Flashcut CAM software.
- 2D AutoCAD Mechanical (Architectural, etc. basically any version of CAD)experience a must (required)
- CAM software (any) experience a plus but not required
- Metal fabrication experience a plus but not required
- Plasma or Laser programming a plus but not required
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints is required.
- Knowledge of metal gains, welding tolerances, welding symbols, fabrication standards and practices, the metric system, standard I-beam, channel and pipe sizes a plus but not required.
- Associates degree preferred or 2 years relevant work experience.
Job Type: Full-time.Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week.
