Position Summary:
The Senior Loan Processor is responsible for managing the entire loan process from submission to closing. This role involves thorough analysis and verification of credit, income, assets, appraisal, escrow, and title documentation for various loan types, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines. Collaborating with a Junior Loan Processor, the team will engage directly with clients, real estate agents, and loan officers to fulfill all loan conditions and facilitate a smooth closing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate income, credit, assets, and property details against investor criteria to confirm eligibility for the desired loan program.
- Submit loan applications for approval and collect/review all outstanding conditions.
- Coordinate the ordering of loan documents and liaise with third-party escrow companies to ensure timely closings.
- Manage daily workflow to guarantee all loans adhere to contractual deadlines, maintaining proactive communication with referral partners and clients.
- Work additional hours as necessary and take ownership of loans within your pipeline.
- Stay updated on all investor guidelines and program modifications.

Compensation: $26.00 per hour

Application Requirements:
- Availability for a full-time, on-site position.
- Comfort with a compensation range of $24 to $26 per hour, plus a monthly bonus based on loan funding.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years in customer service.
- Minimum of 2 years in residential mortgage loan processing.
Essential Qualifications:
- Preferred experience with FHA/VA loans.
- Current knowledge of federal and state disclosure regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office Suite, Desktop Underwriter, and Loan Prospector.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Demonstrated high-volume productivity.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working efficiently under pressure.
- Team player with strong customer service skills and effective communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Positive attitude and self-motivation are essential.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
