Insurance Account Manager

Job Summary:
The Insurance Account Manager works closely with the Producer to drive business growth through support on critical functions and communications. The Account Manager communicates regularly with current and potential customers to discover their needs, answer questions, and find solutions to issues. The Account Manager ensures products and services meet customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing customer accounts, address special needs, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Producer to secure new accounts.
- Interface with clients on claims, coverages, and proposals for renewal and new business.
- Prepare and deliver targeted presentations on products and services, explaining the benefits of product offerings.
- Maintain relationships with insurance carriers on new business and renewal related matters.
- Work with the marketing department to develop strategic solutions to overcome obstacles.
- Act as a liaison between the Producer and other team members to ensure client service standards align with the Producer's goals.
- Provide risk management information for clients regarding coverages in place and coverages to consider.
- Develop management programs for categories, including large deductibles, loss-sensitive, captives, and layered programs.
- Network within the industry and study the competition.
- Chair and coordinate team meetings.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and project management skills.
- Solution-oriented and adaptable to change.
- 10+ years of experience in insurance account support and/or sales role.
- College degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Georgia Insurance License.
