We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relationship Banker to join our team at Truist. As a Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships with our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced client maintenance requests, problem resolution, and sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience, and other product and service lines.
  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and sales targets by offering products and services that meet client needs.
  • Support team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex client needs to internal specialists.
  • Participate in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
  • Commit to advancing individual knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge to better serve clients.
  • Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
  • Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies.
  • Ensure a consistent client service experience by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 2 years of client sales and service experience.
  • Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
  • Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond in a professional manner with a high level of service quality.
  • Experience with discussing, recommending, and selling various deposit, credit, and retirement products.
  • Demonstrated ability in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
