Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled General Manager to lead our convenience stores in Prince George, Stony Creek, and Warfield, VA locations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability in a high-volume retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure store operations meet or exceed safety, service, and operational efficiency standards by analyzing opportunities and executing established policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performing team through effective hiring, training, and coaching.
  • Maximize store sales through strategic merchandising, schematics, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports to achieve performance goals and provide feedback and development opportunities.
  • Maintain store operations by analyzing cash, inventory, repair, and maintenance expenses, salary, supply expenses, and profit margins.
  • Ensure stores operate within established inventory levels, salary budgets, and gross profit margins to achieve maximum profitability.
  • Implement communication and policies with clients, staff, employees, and vendors.
  • Responsible for implementing business and strategic planning initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of store image, ensuring stores are clean, well-stocked, and ready for business.
  • Achieve financial objectives, including shrink, labor, cash, and other key performance indicators.
  • Be a role model for all employees and build relationships with community partners to connect the store with its community.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in the convenience store, grocery, or other service industry with responsibility for financial results.
  • Previous experience in QSR or Food Service Convenience is required.
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds on occasion throughout the day.
  • Flexible availability, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Experience effectively implementing change and demonstrated results in execution.
