Job Summary:

As a Diesel Technician at Waste Pro, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body components of heavy duty and light duty trucks. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing all aspects of Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, and McNeilus vehicles and equipment. Additionally, you will utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes and initiate or assign repairs. Furthermore, you will conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body components of heavy duty and light duty trucks
Maintain and repair all aspects of Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, and McNeilus vehicles and equipment
Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes and initiate or assign repairs
Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy duty truck repair
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
