Job Summary:

WholesomeCo Cannabis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for verifying cannabis orders and providing consultations to patients and prospective patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify all pharmacy transactions for accuracy and compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies
  • Provide consultations to patients and prospective patients
  • Maintain store operational standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients and employees
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Directly supervise all activity within the facility
  • Oversee daily inventory operations
  • Assist patients with their questions, problems, and complaints
  • Handle all patient-related issues in accordance with company policy
  • Promote a positive experience for all patients
  • Direct and oversee all patient interactions and provide clinical counseling
  • Coordinate with practitioners to facilitate positive patient outcomes
Qualifications:
  • Desire to learn about cannabis as a medicine
  • Certified Registered Utah State Pharmacist
  • Pharmacy experience required
  • Experience working in a heavily regulated industry necessary
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to build and manage teams
  • Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
  • Ability to work weekends preferred
  • Ability to remain compliant with all applicable laws as well as company SOPs and guidelines
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Basic computer skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to stand or sit for 8-12 hours
Cannabis Knowledge:

WholesomeCo will provide access to medical cannabis educational tools. Develop a deep understanding of cannabis forms, dosing, drug interactions, side effects, and available products. Understand the efficacy of variance strains, potencies, and methods of delivery.
