Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at The Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to providing outstanding customer service. As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be expected to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tables and tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Anticipate and address guests' needs, taking initiative to ensure their satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Process payments accurately and promptly
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • An ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. You will also receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for career growth and development.

Estimated Salary Range: $42,500 - $50,000 per year

The estimated salary range is based on national averages and may vary depending on individual circumstances. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, plus tips and bonuses.
