DO & CO is looking for Equipment Packers to support our teams in Metro Detroit.

What you'll do:

You'll be part of the DO&CO team that supports one of Unit busiest services: You'll be working in a logistic Unit center that serves as hub for equipment and beverages packing that stock all of the airlines companies we serve. Because we offer a wide variety of options, you'll be packing trolleys, maintain organization of products, pack chinaware, glasses and assorted serving equipment are defect free and clean and ensure that liquor packs are to airline specification.

A day an Equipment Packer:
  • Receive, store, and assemble equipment and supplies according to airline specifications.
  • Ensure exact number of equipment and beverage is accurately packed and ready for each flight at all times. Ensure all stocks received and replenishments are documented properly.
  • Conduct inventory of assigned area as needed.
  • Inspect all chinaware, silverware, plasticware, and all equipment used daily and verify each flight before trolleys are sealed. Comply with hygiene, quality, and safety standards always. Prepare correct paperwork for the Equipment and Beverage packing according to company guidelines.
  • Accomplish goals and objectives while adhering to Food Safety regulations. Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

  • Ability to manage through a substantial workload.
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
  • Flexibility (different shifts -days, nights, weekends, holidays)
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of six months of logistics/warehousing experience in a similar work environment preferred.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English effectively.
  • Required to pass the SIDA badge test for airport clearance.
