Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Marine Pipe Welder to join our team at Tradesmen International, Inc. in Pascagoula, MS.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of commercial/ naval experience and be able to fuse inserts and weld carbon steel stainless steel and copper nickel pipe using the SMAW and GTAW processes.

Responsibilities:

  • All position fillet and butt welds using the SMAW process
  • Heating Oxygen/Propane Heating Torch

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of commercial/ naval experience
  • Ability to mirror weld using the SMAW and GTAW processes
  • Experience working in physically demanding environments shipboard sub-assemblies
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry
  • Ability to properly use fillet gauges butt gauges and a 6" scale
