Job SummaryThis is a 13-week travel opportunity for a Cath Lab Technologist to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-level catheterization laboratory procedures, including coronary and peripheral interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound systems.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
- Strong background in structural heart procedures, including TAVR, mitral clips, ASD, and PFOs.
- Experience with pediatric catheterization laboratory procedures.
- Proficiency in BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Expertise in scrub, monitor, circulate, and EKG skills.
- Knowledge of balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Rotablader, and left/right heart catheterization procedures.
- Experience with arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, electrophysiology evaluation, insertion/programming of AICDs, LAA closure, pacemaker insertion, watchman, Tilt Table Study, Afib ablations RF, and Afib ablations Cryo.
- Preferred experience with Cerner EMR.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
